ABOUT LARA
Lara’s work exists on the line between the wild and curated. While studying landscape architecture, she was drawn to the spontaneity of self-seeded plant communities and their effortless beauty. Having grown up around theatre and ballet, Lara imbues each arrangement with a sense of movement and story, creating floral designs that reveal their meaning slowly.
Lara is based in Melbourne/Naarm where she has a small studio in Flemington. Here she hosts an assortment of creative workshops and curates a selection of beautiful gifts and homewares for purchase.
GARDEN - TO - VASE
As a gardener-florist, Lara has diversified her selection of floral material by growing her own cut flowers at home. She applies her horticultural knowledge of successional planting, companion planting and organic practices to produce the highest quality seasonal blooms for her clients. Specialising in delicate cottage garden varieties which have been neglected by commercial flower growers, Lara has a constant supply of something rare and exquisite.
